AuxiliaGroup Recruitment are currently hiring a Sales Executive on behalf of our client, an established company within the engineering sector. This is a permanent opportunity covering the Midwest and Midlands regions.
Role:
Develop, manage, and grow an established portfolio of existing customer accounts and live opportunities within the company CRM system.
Build strong long-term relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, and end clients to maximise repeat business and identify growth opportunities.
Proactively identify and progress opportunities within existing accounts, inactive leads, and current market sectors
Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry receipt and project qualification through quotation, negotiation, and successful win/loss completion in collaboration with the Estimating and commercial teams.
Maintain a highly accurate and up-to-date pipeline within Salesforce, ensuring all opportunities, communications, and project stages are effectively tracked and managed.
Quickly develop a strong understanding of the company’s CRM processes, customer base, and sales workflow to ensure efficient progression of opportunities through the sales cycle
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail across sales administration, customer communication, reporting, and opportunity management.
Requirements:
2+ years’ experience in a sales or business development position, preferably field sales.
Experience within the engineering or construction related sectors preferred but not essential.
Ambition to build a career in sales and business development.
Strong levels of drive, resilience and comfortable working to targets and KPIs.
Experience working within structured sales processes and advanced CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, with strong pipeline management and CRM accuracy skills.
Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building ability
Capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Commercially aware with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
Willingness and ability to learn technical product solutions.
