Key Responsibilities:
* To supervise and manage a programme of work to deliver new and upgrade water/wastewater network improvements in the Dublin and Greater Dublin areas.
About the Role:
As a Resident Engineer – Water/Wastewater, you will provide site supervision of either water/wastewater projects. You should be able to demonstrate previous experience in either the design or construction of watermain upgrades and rehabilitation techniques, leakage repair/wastewater upgrades and treatment works etc.
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
Main Responsibilities:
1. To provide supervision and management on a programme of work to deliver new and upgrade water/wastewater network improvements
2. 7 years' satisfactory postgraduate experience in on-site supervision, contract administration and project management of civil engineering works, to include water or wastewater projects
3. A Degree in a related discipline, such as Civil Engineering
4. Capable of writing clear and concise reports and keeping works records
5. Strong knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and regulations
6. Satisfactory knowledge of construction contracts, experience in FIDIC and Public Works forms of contract would be advantageous but not essential
7. A current and valid SafePass card is essential. Confined Spaces training would be desirable
You will also have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to act within a team at all times. With the nature of the role there may be travel involved so you should be flexible in terms of travel.
