We are seeking to hire a Part-Qualified/Qualified Accountant in our Kinsale, Co.Cork office.
Full time hours: 35 hrs per week (in office work only). Working hours are Monday- Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday 9am-4pm.
Responsibilities:
* Management of multiple jobs ensuring the key objectives are delivered as required and in a timely manner
* Experience of preparing and/or reviewing of VAT, PAYE, income tax & corporation tax returns.
* Liaise with clients on queries relating to Revenue requirements, Companies Registration Office (CRO) filings, and Irish GAAP/FRS 102/FRS 105
* Preparation and review of financial statements
* Compliance with Irish tax legislation, filing deadlines, and regulatory standards.
* The use of Sage Accounts Production and SAGE Line 50.
Candidate Profile:
* Resident of Ireland
* 2 to 3 years experience in Irish Accounting practice (Essential)
* Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with clients on your portfolio
* Self-motivation and capability of working on your own initiative
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Committed to obtaining a professional qualification
* Be a natural team player, comfortable working closely in a team environment
* Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise tasks and focus on meeting deadlines
* Experience of payroll
