Location: Ballymote Job Type:Temporary 3-month initial contract Full time: 35 hours, Monday to Friday, 09.00-17.00 Pay rate: €19.77 - €30.37 per hourdepending on previous relative public sector experience Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and secretarial support to clinicians and the wider team Manage patient appointments, clinics, and diaries Answer telephone calls and respond to patient and staff enquiries professionally Prepare and process medical correspondence, reports, and referrals Maintain accurate patient records and data entry on clinical systems Liaise with patients, GP surgeries, hospitals, and healthcare professionals Handle confidential information in line with GDPR and practice policies Support the smooth day-to-day running of the department/office General office administration including filing, emails, and document management Essential Criteria Previous administration or secretarial experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time management abilities Good typing, data entry, and computer skills Ability to work in a busy environment and manage multiple tasks Professional, friendly, and patient-focused approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of confidentiality and attention to detail Please apply with your updated C.V. at your earliest convenience.
