We are seeking a Highly experienced Senior Data Architect (Data Architecture Lead Analyst - C13) with strong hands-on experience in developing conceptual, logical and physical data model for Issuer Services. This role will focus on designing and implementing strategic, state-of-the-art data solutions within Citi's data governance framework. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data architecture principles and a proven track record of developing large-scale data models that cater to multiple lines of business.Responsibilities:Design modern, scalable data architectures using Cloud and On Premises Solution,Develop conceptual, logical, physical models, establish and enforce data governance, lineage and meta data management practices.Lead integration efforts across multiple data sources including transactional system, API’s, data lake and streaming data.Define model and rationalize target state architecture, socialize with key stakeholders and conduct walkthroughDetermine database structural requirements by analysing issuer business, applications and data from existing systemsParticipate in requirement engineering and working groups and collaborate with business leads, operations, SMEs, technologists and governance teamsIncorporate data standards and implement governance modelDevelop data flows, ownership matrixes and data lineageImplemented physical data model, contribute to the system and operational design, carry out optimization for usability and performanceInfluence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessaryDevelop architecture, strategy, planning, and problem-solving solutions on an enterprise levelDesign and maintain blueprint of the information architecture, data integrations and controls aligned to the renewed business strategyQualifications:Significant hand-on experience in Data Architecture, Data Science and/or Data Modelling expertiseHands on experience in Hive, Hadoop, Impala, Tableau, Kafka, BI Tools, Scala, highly preferredGood knowledge of relational/OLTP/OLAP/Big Data conceptsGood knowledge of modelling and architecture tools such as Magic Draw, Erwin etc.Experience in modelling and building complex IT systemsExpertise in Data Management methodologies involving architecture, modelling, storage, securityGood understanding of data governance - defining strategy, developing goals, principles and policiesPrior experience in data integration, interoperability and data quality solutionsAnalytical and problem solver, excellent verbal, written and presentation skillsExperience in financial services specially the security marketEducation:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree preferredCertification in Data Architecture / Modelling is a plusBy joining Citi Dublin, you will not only be part of a business casual workplace with a hybrid working model (up to 2 days working at home per week), but also receive a competitive base salary (which is annually reviewed) and enjoy a whole host of additional benefits that support you (and your family) to be well, live well and save well.
