Trade Counter Sales and Stores Operative
We are a family-run business looking to hire a full-time operative for our trade counter at Kimmage.
This is a customer-facing role where you'll be providing excellent service at the counter and over the phone.
The position offers a great opportunity to develop your skills in the plumbing and heating industry, with potential for career progression for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serving customers at the trade counter
* Handling internal sales and answering customer queries over the phone
* Preparing customer quotations
* Ordering stock and negotiating with suppliers
* Picking and preparing customer orders
* Managing goods in/goods out
Requirements:
* Previous experience in wholesale is preferred but not essential
* Good knowledge of plumbing and heating products, or a willingness to learn
* Strong teamwork and organisational skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Competency in IT and computer systems
* Reliable and punctual
* A valid driver's licence
