This hands-on role requires a highly visible presence and direct engagement with Management, drivers, staff, and customers. The ideal candidate will be an organized and energetic leader who excels in problem-solving and communication.Key Responsibilities:Operational Management:1. Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to schedules.2. Monitor and manage vehicle dispatch, route optimization, and on-time performance.3. Communicate effectively with management team4. Coordinate with operations Manager to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.Driver Support:1. Maintain regular communication with drivers, providing support and addressing any issues that arise.2. Ensure drivers are informed of any operational changes or updates.Customer Service:1: Ensure all customer interactions are handled professionally and courteously.Safety and Compliance:Ensure all operations comply with relevant safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary. Promote a culture of safety and accountability among all staff members.Team Leadership:1. Supervise and support frontline staff, including drivers and customer service representatives.2. Provide feedback on drivers and cleaners performance and behavior'sCrisis Management:1. Update live roster for payroll purposesQualifications: Proven experience in a supervisory role within the transport or logistics industry. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on team development. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
