Accountant Position Overview
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a career-driven and organised Part-Qualified Accountant to join our Finance Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the invoicing process, assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, and preparing VAT reconciliations and submitting returns.
In addition, they will support the ERP implementation project and other strategic initiatives, administer the Company Pension Scheme, contribute to cyclical Budget and Forecast processes, assist with annual audit processes, and provide support on ad-hoc projects and tasks.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Manage invoicing process through to final cash collection.
* Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet).
* Prepare VAT reconciliations and submit returns.
* Support ERP implementation project and other strategic initiatives.
* Administer Company Pension Scheme.
* Contribute to cyclical Budget and Forecast processes.
* Assist with annual audit process.
* Provide support on ad-hoc projects and tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3-5 years proven experience.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practice.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with financial/ERP systems desirable.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
