Overview The Sustainability Specialist 1 supports Cook Medical's Social Impact & Sustainability function by maintaining environmental data, supporting disclosures, collaborating across functions, and contributing to decarbonization and circularity initiatives.
Responsibilities Collect and validate environmental performance data (energy, water, waste, refrigerants).
Support Scope 1 & 2 GHG inventory and Scope 3 screening.
Maintain ISO 14001-aligned documentation and audit evidence.
Assist with CSRD/ESRS, GRI, CDP disclosures.
Support energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives.
Assist on packaging sustainability and EPR data.
Support supplier ESG data requests.
Prepare presentations and internal communications.
Identify workflow and documentation improvements.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Environmental Policy, or a related field or equivalent experience preferable.
Internship or project experience in sustainability or operations preferred.
Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Ability to collaborate across functions.
Exposure to ISO 14001, GHG Protocol, CSRD/GRI/CDP highly recommended.
Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) advantageous.
