EOHSS Safety Advisor - Dublin, Ireland - 12 Months Contract

Responsibilities Include
* Implement the company’s health, safety, quality, and environmental policies, procedures, and management systems, and apply corporate standards.
* Advise the project team on site on how best to comply with legislation and company procedures.
* Promote a positive Health and Safety culture on site with Project Management, Sub-contractors, and staff, motivating and encouraging towards set goals.
* Develop, maintain, and foster collaborative relationships with the wider project team.
* Ensure the duties of PSCS are fulfilled by appointed contractors.
* Monitor EOHSS compliance on site, generating weekly inspections and reports.
* Develop, enhance, and implement robust site EOHSS procedures ensuring statutory and environmental safety obligations.
* Review relevant EOHSS plans and documents on site, e.g., H&S Plan, Environmental Plan, Traffic Management Plan.
* Host and lead EOHSS meetings on site.
* Liaise with On-site Project team, PSDP, and design team as required.
* Review and comment on Risk Assessments / Method Statements with the Site Team and contractors to reduce and control risk.
Key Requirements
* You should have a recognised Health & Safety qualification.
* Experience in an EOHSS role.
* Highly motivated individual.
* Previous experience within the Bio-Pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Must have experience working with a PSCS contractor.
* Excellent IT skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
* Good time management and organizational skills.
* Ability and willingness to work on own initiative but also capable of working as part of a team.
* Ability to work well under pressure and within strict deadlines.
* Ability to build strong working relationships and stakeholder management skills.
