Job Description
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours, based in Kilmallock, Limerick.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the service users' needs are being met.
* Teaching daily living and social skills through daily activities
* Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with service users
* Engaging in activities and completing household tasks
* Keeping accurate records of service user documentation
Additionally, the candidate will have the ability to work independently and supervise service users and staff in a residential setting.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
* A degree in Applied Social Studies or a relevant qualification
* Minimum of three years' experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities
* Proven managerial skills with a minimum of three years' experience at a management level and an appropriate management qualification
* Ability to manage residential budgets and behaviours that challenge
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Fully manual driving license
