Responsibilities
* Providing care and support to service users based on their individual needs and preferences.
* Assisting with basic skills such as feeding, washing, dressing.
* Encouraging and supporting service users to engage in their preferred activities.
* Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and family members to ensure the highest level of care is provided.
* Demonstrating empathy and compassion towards others.
Requirements
* Minimum of a level 7 or 8 degree in Social Care.
* At least 3 months social care experience.
* Full driving license and access to own car is desirable is essential
* Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
* All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
* Candidates who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months over the age of 16 will be required to produce International Police Clearance. Failure to have this document during the initial recruitment stages will result in an unsuccessful application.
