Tendering Engineer (M&E) | Carlow | €65K–€70K + Benefits
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Tendering Engineer (M&E) to join a well-established engineering contractor operating within the water and utilities sector based in Carlow.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity suited to someone with a strong MEICA background who can manage technical and commercial tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission.
Key Requirements:
10+ years’ experience within a MEICA engineering environment
Strong background in tendering, estimating, or project engineering
Excellent technical and commercial understanding across Mechanical & Electrical projects
Water/wastewater industry experience highly desirable
Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
The Role:
Prepare and coordinate technical & commercial tender submissions
Review specifications, drawings, and project scopes
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal design teams
Develop accurate cost estimates and pricing schedules
Support value engineering and post-tender negotiations
