Medforce Recruitment are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapist on behalf of a large acute hospital in West Dublin.
Due to growth, our client has vacancies in Orthopaedics, Care of the Elderly, Medical, Surgical, Hand Therapy, and Plastics and Medical Assessment unit.
This post is an excellent opportunity to develop clinically and as you progress with learning opportunities in service development and leadership to effectively evolve in your role.
The successful candidate will join a friendly, dynamic, and supportive team with excellent structures and supervision.
This is a full-time, 35-hour week spread across Monday – Friday with excellent benefits including free onsite parking, incremental HSE pay-scale, generous annual leave entitlement, and CPD opportunities.
Requirements
* Be registered or be eligible for registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
* Experience working in an acute setting is desirable.
* Minimum of 3 years clinical experience is essential.
* Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Knowledge of health and safety matters in relation to services and risk management.
* The ability to develop and maintain a safe, harmonious environment for staff and patients.
* Emphasizing professional development and teamwork at all times.
* Effective communication skills and excellent administrative skills, with a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
* Experience in building positive working relationships with clients, their families, staff, and other health and social care professionals.
