Days: Monday - Thursday (6:00am - 2:00pm) Fridays (6:00am -1:00pm, 2-10, 1-8
Nights: Monday - Thursday (2:00pm - 10:00pm) Fridays (1:00pm - 8:00pm)
There will be a requirement for flexibility to cover for some weekly night shifts for holidays and illness absences as part of the wider engineering team.

What you'll do:
Join our engineering team in Naas, Co Kildaire. In this active job, you will be reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and the purpose of the role is to maintain reliable operation of the plant. The job function is to carry out a full range of plant maintenance tasks and repairs on a proactive/planned and reactive basis to meet day to day engineering services in a busy high speed manufacturing environment including:
Install, Maintain, and repair mechanical equipment,
Including pumps ,valves, motors, and conveyors/ augers, on filling and packing machines.
Fault find and resolve mechanical issues ensuring minimal downtime.
Follow maintenance schedule / greasing, oiling, and repairs .
Identify and carry out preventative repairs and improvements.
Assist with equipment installations and upgrades .
Welding and fabricating.
Follow safe systems in work environment of a safe system of work, PPE permits, risk assessment etc
Participate in continuous Improvement initiatives in predictive maintenance techniques
Become a key member in company initiatives such as maintenance logging systems and T Cards
You will work closely with the production team so good communication skills and the ability for diagnostic trouble shooting will be key,
What we are looking for:
Qualifications in this field are essential with experience and understanding of working in a strong Health and Safety manufacturing culture. Other experiences include fault finding/repairs, including hydraulics, valves and pneumatic and familiar with safe system of work (permit to Work systems).
