Job Title: Automotive Parts Logistics Specialist (Portuguese Speaker)
Employer: Light Commercial Components Limited Location: Unit 6, Site 3, Crag Avenue, Clondalkin Industrial Estate, Clondalkin, Dublin, D22 RW86, Ireland
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (inclusive of a 30- minute unpaid daily break), totalling 39 hours per week. Overtime must be authorised in advance and will be remunerated in accordance with Irish employment law.
Position and Start Date: The successful candidate will commence employment on Monday, 1st December 2025.
Salary & Benefits: Annual Gross Salary: €34,200 (€657.69 per week; €16.86 per hour, based on a 39-hour week, in line with the Employment Permits Regulations 2024)
Overtime Rate: €25.25 per hour (pre-approved, per Irish law)
Annual Leave: 20 paid days per year plus statutory public holidays (Organisation of Working Time Act 1997)
Business Expenses: Reimbursed with valid receipts and prior approval
Job Description:
Light Commercial Components Ltd, a trusted Dublin-based automotive parts distributor, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator / Supply Chain Assistant with fluent Portuguese to join our operations team. This role is critical in maintaining quality, efficiency, and strong supplier relationships within our automotive supply chain.
Key Duties:
Collect automotive parts from suppliers, manufacturers, and assembly plants.
Inspect and verify condition, accuracy, and provenance before dispatch.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and health & safety procedures.
Organise delivery routes for maximum efficiency and timeliness.
Coordinate with drivers, warehouse teams, and relevant staff to ensure accurate deliveries. Monitor delivery issues and recommend solutions.
Maintain accurate collection, inspection, and delivery records.
Assist with delivery schedules, stock movement reports, and traceability records.
Communicate with customers professionally to resolve delivery queries.
Use Portuguese to liaise effectively with Portuguese-speaking suppliers, partners, and clients.
Strengthen trust between the company and its customer base through consistent service.
Support smooth logistics and supply chain operations.
Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and quality requirements
Requirements:
Fluency in Portuguese (essential)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience in logistics, supply chain, or automotive parts distribution preferred
Full Irish Driver's Licence
