Excel Recruitment is seeking a Sales Team Leader for our client who specialises in the logistics and road freight industry. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Dublin 24, and would suit an experienced and ambitious Sales Team Leader that would like to take on a new challenge is a well branded Logistics Company.
Responsibilities
Support the Sales Manager and Inside Sales team in daily operations
Provide coaching, training, and performance support to Inside Sales staff
Manage sales targets, KPIs, and key performance figures
Coordinate sales activities and support sales-related projects
Assist with customer portfolio management
Encourage a proactive, commercially focused sales approach
Guide the team in prioritising sales opportunities based on value and strategy
Provide ad-hoc support to the external sales team
Oversee employee development and general people management duties
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales-related role
Strong understanding of domestic road freight or logistics operations
Experience using CRM systems
Good customer service and communication skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Good geographical knowledge of Ireland
Experience managing KPIs and sales targets
Willingness to travel occasionally for training or development
Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments
