Job Description
A leading organisation is seeking an experienced financial accountant to join its finance team on a fixed-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to both day-to-day finance operations and strategic planning.
* Lead the preparation of year-end accounts, ensuring all financial reporting is accurate and audit-ready.
* Partner with senior leadership on financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
* Produce monthly management accounts and deliver variance reports across multiple business units.
* Manage general ledger activity including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
* Support budget creation, tracking, and cash flow management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a similar finance role.
* Proven ability to lead audit preparation and manage year-end reporting.
* Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with Sage or comparable systems preferred.
