The Patient Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for always promoting the highest standard of service as well as developing, coaching, and mentoring the scheduling team members, along with responsibility for the daily operational activity of the Patient Scheduling Team.
This role is ideal for an experienced team leader with a scheduling or customer service administration background, or an experienced scheduler ready for the next step in their career.
This role is permanent and full time, with attractive hybrid working available.
Key Responsibilities : Daily oversight responsibility for the logistical planning, scheduling, and co-ordination of patient visits in accordance with service requirements.
Ability to prioritise workload and have excellent attention to detail with a positive, flexible work attitude.
Motivates and develops the team, setting targets and monitoring progress with regular reviews and job chats.
Assist in short-listing, interviewing and selection of staff.
Managing the staff roster including absence and annual leave, ensuring adequate skills mix available to deliver service requirements.
Responsible for identifying and handling potential performance and/or conduct issues within the team, escalating as appropriate.
Maintain all records/correspondence/databases/documentation, electronic or other formats, in an accurate manner within agreed policies and adhering to GDPR regulations.
Assist in ensuring that continuing quality systems are implemented and maintained within the TCP group.
Always represents self in a professional and ethical manner, complying with all applicable company policy and procedures.
Essential Requirements 5 years' combined work experience in a role that has involved either customer service/administration/scheduling/co-ordination/rostering.
Comprehensive understanding of IT Systems; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
High degree of self-motivation, proven ability to problem-solve and is solutions focused.
High level of attention to detail, having a systematic and structured approach to tasks and processes, as well as having good time management and strong numerical skills.
Ability to communicate and influence at all levels across the organisation.
Must be flexible and adaptable to change, working across multiple sub-departments as required.
Demonstrates sound judgement and an ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
