Maintenance Engineer Job
Our organisation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability and efficiency of our processing plant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment faults, assisting with managing preventative maintenance routines, and contributing to the smooth running of our production lines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair production machinery, process equipment, and control systems.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in collaboration with the Engineering Supervisor.
* Audit maintenance activity records for management review and regulatory compliance.
* Prioritise work requests in partnership with production teams and supervisors.
* Maintain engineering spares stores area cleanliness, organisation, and inventory levels.
We are looking for someone who can take initiative independently in a dynamic environment while maintaining excellent technical knowledge across multiple trades. A background in mechanical or electrical engineering is essential as well as 2+ years' experience within food manufacturing - although this may vary depending on skillset.
