Engineering Manager (SaaS Platform, .NET)
Job Summary
We’re hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for building and delivering SaaS platform features. This role focuses on team leadership, delivery execution, and improving engineering practices across the group. You’ll work closely with Product and QA to ship high-quality features while ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and reliable. Success in this role means delivering consistently, developing engineers, and improving team performance over time.
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and develop a team of software engineers, including hiring, performance management, and career development
Own delivery of team roadmap, ensuring features are delivered on time and meet quality expectations
Partner with Product and QA to define scope, prioritize work, and align on delivery timelines
Drive adoption of engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality standards
Support release readiness, production stability, and incident response activities
Contribute to technical decisions and system design while enabling engineers to take ownership
Ensure secure coding practices and adherence to compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR)
Track team performance and identify opportunities to improve delivery and efficiency
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams (direct people management, performance reviews, hiring)
6+ years of professional software engineering experience in a production environment
Experience delivering cloud-based SaaS applications (AWS, Azure, or similar)
Experience working in Agile development environments with CI/CD pipelines
Experience supporting production systems, including incident response and release management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with .NET (C#, .NET Core) in production environments
Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular)
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL)
Familiarity with observability tools (logging, monitoring, alerting)
Exposure to AI/ML features or workflows in a product environment
Experience improving engineering processes and team efficiency
