Background: The Irish Hospitality Institute (IHI) was founded in 1966 as the professional body for managers in Ireland's hotel, tourism, and catering industries, collectively known as the Hospitality Industry. Since its foundation, the Irish Hospitality Institute has promoted professional and management development through the organisation of seminars, conferences, networking opportunities and the facilitation and promotion of various management development and training initiatives. Job Overview: The role of the Membership Executive is to contribute to the effective administration and delivery of IHI Membership Services. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Membership Effective management of Membership enquiries. Approve, invoice new members and ensure payment is received. Complete new member onboarding on receipt of payment. Process all membership payments. Action membership targeting in line with growth strategy. Reporting on revenue and membership targets as set. Execute all leads on CRM and submit weekly sales activity report NEO. On occasion, you will be required to attend IHI events. Monitoring and reviewing membership retention. Administration Management of CRM. Manage event bookings, invoicing & reporting. Manage administration of CPD courses. Prepare Membership and Graduate certificates. Prepare delegate packs as required. Implement and support all company initiatives and programs as requested. Finance Monthly allocation of payment on the accounting system. Generate statements. Credit Control. Manage account queries. Reporting on revenue and membership targets as set. Qualifications: Educated to college/university level, preferably with at least 3-5 years of experience in an administration-type role. Preferred Skills & Knowledge: Strong organisational time management and administration capabilities. Ability to work independently or as a team player. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build effective relationships. Self-motivated, energetic, positive can-do attitude. Strong attention to detail. Proficiency with computer skills, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Working Conditions: The Membership Executive represents the Members of the Irish Hospitality Institute. A positive image projected by this key staff member is essential.
