Job Description:
We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Security Engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for leading security diligence for acquisitions, designing and guiding post-close acquisition security roadmaps, and enabling existing subsidiaries to seamlessly secure their environments through the delivery of innovative security solutions.
As a Security Engineer, you will work closely with data scientists, software development engineers, and other security engineers across multiple teams to develop innovative security solutions. You will use the full power and breadth of Amazon built security technologies to build services that proactively protect customers, both internally and externally, from security threats.
You will also communicate effectively with management and engineering, building trust across the organization, and demonstrating discretion with sensitive information. Additionally, you will identify continuous process improvements at unprecedented scale and support scalable security solutions across our diverse subsidiary networks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A strong background in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
* Knowledge of system, network and OS.
* Understanding of security threats, hands-on experience detecting and defending from cyber attacks, and experience using big data analytics and orchestration to address security challenges.
* Ability to develop code with at least one modern language such as Java, Go, TypeScript, Python, Rust and security code review.
* Demonstrate excellent judgement in assessing and prioritizing technical risk.
* Hold professional security certification such as CISSP, CRISC.
