Details of Service
Quality and Patient Safety (QPS) is responsible for supporting the delivery of safe, effective, person-centred care that enhances the health and well-being of patients and service users. The division provides assurance on the quality of services delivered across the organisation.
The role of the QPS Department is to:
· Develop and support the systems, structures, and processes required to monitor, improve, and provide assurance on the quality and safety of care.
· Lead and enable implementation of the broader quality agenda in line with national policy, strategic priorities, and regulatory requirements.
· Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
· Support, facilitate, and promote continuous quality improvement across all services.
· Provide assurance to the organisation on the delivery of the highest possible standard of care and service.
