This is a new, permanent HR Advisor/HR Officer job, and an addition to the existing, successful team. It really is an exciting time to join the business.The company has a prime location in Monaghan that is an easy commute for professionals from Armagh, Tyrone, Down or Monaghan.Reporting to an inspiring HR Manager, the successful HR professional will provide expert HR generalist support to the business, from recruitment, absence and performance management through to employee welfare and engagement initiatives.This is a really varied HR opportunity and a strong blend of HR operations and process improvement and innovation.The RoleSupport recruitment and selection processes – assisting managers with adverts, posting on job boards, interviewing etcRepresent the Company at job fairs and careers eventsSupport with onboarding activities, participating in interactive induction training, and ensuring follow up, touch points with employeesMaintain accurate recordsProvide advice, support and guidance on processes, policies and procedures, as well as complex employee relations casesAct as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and proceduresSupport Managers with performance management, absence management as well as with investigation, discipline and grievance processesAssist in resolving employee relations issues and conflicts in a timely and professional mannerPromote, develop and implement employee engagement initiatives including driving the employee forumPrepare HR related documents – employment contracts, letters, KPI reports etcManage and support various HR projectsThe Person3rd level education, advantageousAssociate CIPD qualifiedMinimum of 1-2 years experience within a similar role – HR Generalist/Officer/AdvisorGood grounding and experience of applying Irish employment law in the workplaceExcellent communicator and keen relationship builderAbility to use initiative and innovate for continuous improvementProficient in MS Office and HR softwareAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesFull clean drivers licence and access to own transport, essentialThe RewardsAttractive salaryNew, permanent HR Generalist opportunityBased in Monaghan, easily accessible from Monaghan, Tryone, Armagh and Down.Full time hours, (Monday to Friday – with some flex)30 days annual leaveFantastic working environment, new modern building Successful, well established organisationFree car parkingTo apply for this permanent HR Generalist job, please contact Stephanie Mulholland at Hunter Savage for a confidential discussion.We reserve the right to heighten shortlisting criteria dependent upon the calibre of response.
