As a Business Development Manager (Ireland & Nordics), you will play a key role in supporting Crestchic's growth strategy, with a particular focus on data centres and other key industries across Ireland & Nordics. Reporting to the Regional Manager Rental Sales, Ireland & Nordics, you will help develop new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and support Crestchic's position as a trusted partner in the loadbank rental industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual early in their career to gain experience in business development, sales, and customer relationship management while learning from senior colleagues.
Responsibilities
* Support business development activities to grow opportunities in data centres and other key sectors.
* Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and new prospects.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers and operations teams during the project planning, equipment selection, and deployment.
* Provide technical expertise and produce Crestchic RAMs following customer site visits.
* Provide technical expertise for customer tenders.
* Extensive travel and attend site surveys for customer meetings to support the Irish & Nordic growth.
* Attend Teams meetings to support customer projects when required.
* Help identify new business opportunities by researching market trends, upcoming projects, and competitor activity.
* Collaborate with the rental, sales, and marketing teams to support campaigns, proposals, and client meetings.
* Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to learn and represent Crestchic professionally.
* Provide input into sales reports, presentations, and CRM updates.
* Support the preparation and negotiation of proposals and contracts under guidance from the Sales Manager.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
* Proactively develop your knowledge of the industry, products, and sales skills through training and mentoring.
Key performance indicators
* Number of new qualified leads added to CRM per month.
* Value of opportunities created within the sales pipeline.
* Number of customer meetings/calls scheduled and completed per month.
* Growth in active client accounts and repeat business.
* Revenue generated from new business (individual contribution and team-supported).
* Percentage of opportunities successfully converted to contracts.
* Attendance at relevant industry events, conferences, and networking activities.
* Number of market insights or competitor updates shared with the team.
* Completion of agreed training modules and professional development goals.
* Demonstrated improvement in sales, negotiation, and CRM usage skills.
Location: Waterford, Stockholm office and home-based
