We are seeking a highly accomplished Staff Systems Architect to drive the analysis and definition of next-generation architectures across a vast portfolio, including smartphones, wearables, automotive, IoT, and cutting-edge AR/VR solutions.

Key responsibilities include:
You will engage collaboratively across Hardware, Software, Marketing, and Product Planning teams to architect
market-leading SoC solutions
that deliver best-in-class performance and power efficiency.
* Architect
high-performance, power-optimised SoCs (mobile, automotive, IoT).
* Drive
system prototyping
and implementation of new architectural solutions.
* Conduct
hands-on workload analysis
(algorithm/power/performance characterisation) to define SoC roadmaps.
* Apply deep knowledge of
Computer Architecture
(CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, cache coherency, etc.).
* Collaborate on
Machine Learning & AI models
for smart context solutions.
* Use advanced tools (simulators, profilers) for
quantitative architectural justification
.
* Invent and file
patents
on core technical solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
* BS Degree required
, MS or PhD degree in a related field is highly desired.
* 7+ years
of demonstrable Systems Engineering or relevant architecture/design experience.
* Proven
SoC Architecture
background with significant system design experience involving embedded software on large-scale SoC systems.
* Exceptional
communication and collaboration
skills across global, multi-disciplinary teams.
* Outstanding
critical thinking
skills and a desire for continuous learning.
Preferred Expertise (The more the better)
Candidates should possess one or more of the following areas of knowledge:
* SoC / Computer Architecture
(Mobile, Compute, or Multimedia focus).
* Power and/or Performance
optimisation, simulation, and modelling.
* Digital Hardware Design
and
Verification/Test
methodologies.
* ARM CPU/Neon
or
DSP
Algorithm Design/Optimization.
* Graphics Architecture/systems
(GPU Exposure/Experience).
* Machine Learning/AI
on embedded systems.
* Embedded Systems
and
Operating Systems
(Linux/Android).
* SystemC/C++
and scripting (Perl/Python) experience.
