Senior Quantity Surveyor | Data Centre Project Slough Slough, UK Contract/Freelance or Permanent Options Available £400-£500/day or £85K-£95K + Benefits We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) to join an exciting Data Centre project in Slough with a leading tier-1 main contractor. This role offers the flexibility to join on a contract/freelance basis due to the urgent nature of the project, but our client will also consider permanent candidates. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the financial aspects of the Data Centre project, ensuring adherence to budget and contract terms. Work closely with the Commercial Lead and other Project Quantity Surveyors to ensure effective project delivery. Assist in cost planning, forecasting, and reporting. Provide advice on contractual issues, procurement, and risk management. Monitor and evaluate project progress, and proactively address any financial or contractual challenges. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines. Requirements Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the construction or data centre sectors. Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration, and procurement processes. Experience working with a team of Project Quantity Surveyors. Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CostX, Procore, MS Excel, etc.) is preferred. Skills: Senior QS QS Estimating
