Overview
For our client, a global leader in the payments and financial technology industry, we are looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join their team in Dublin and help shape the future of digital payments.
This international, high-performing team is transforming the way the world pays by delivering seamless, secure, and simplified digital checkout solutions. They focus on enabling key capabilities like card tokenization, biometric authentication, and streamlined guest checkout. As part of this team, you will guide developers, partners, and businesses through a dynamic ecosystem of payment innovation, creating content that has real global impact.
What we’re looking for
* 7–8 years’ experience in technical writing or developer documentation, ideally focused on APIs, integration workflows, and B2B/B2C technical products.
* Strong technical foundation (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field).
* Experience with REST APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth2, public/private key), and API-driven ecosystems.
* Hands-on experience with Markdown, docs-as-code, version control (Git), Swagger/OpenAPI, and Postman.
* Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, usable documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience collaborating across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Support teams to deliver high-quality content.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.
What you’ll do
* Develop high-quality technical content, including integration guides, onboarding documentation, tutorials, API references, and internal knowledge resources.
* Own the end-to-end content lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, discoverability, and alignment with evolving product functionality.
* Lead onboarding content strategy and build clear, actionable enablement materials for global customers.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify content gaps and deliver impactful documentation.
* Establish scalable documentation workflows, version control practices, and governance standards.
* Continuously improve content using user feedback, analytics, and changing customer needs.
* Champion documentation as a strategic asset, helping shape the long-term vision for internal and external enablement.
