Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor – Industrial & Logistics ProjectsLocation:Dublin (Head office with frequent site-based work)Salary:€70,000 - €90,000 per annum (D.O.E.)The OpportunityOur client is one of Ireland's fastest-growing main contractors, specialising in the delivery of modern, large-scale industrial, logistics, and data centre facilities. They have picked up some new projects and are seeking an ambitious and experiencedQuantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyorto join their commercial team in Dublin.This role is pivotal to the financial success of their new industrial and logistics projects, requiring a proven ability to manage the full commercial lifecycle from project inception through to final account. You will be instrumental in ensuring robust cost control, strategic procurement, and meticulous contract administration across high-value contracts.Key Responsibilities1. Commercial Management & ControlTake full ownership of all commercial aspects for assigned industrial/logistics projects, ensuring costs are managed within agreed budgets and commercial risks are identified and mitigated.Prepare and submit accurate monthly valuation reports and Payment Applications in line with contract agreements.Manage project cash flow, including forecasting, tracking costs, and compiling detailed financial reports for Senior Management.Oversee the management and resolution of project variations (changes), ensuring timely pricing, negotiation, and agreement with the client and design team.2. Procurement & Contract AdministrationLead the procurement process for key construction packages (e.g., steel frame, cladding, groundworks, fit-out) including tender analysis, negotiation, and drafting sub-contract agreements.Conduct sub-contractor valuations and manage payments and certifications (interim and final accounts).Ensure rigorous administration of main and sub-contracts (typically GCCC or similar forms), advising the Project Manager on all contractual matters.Establish and maintain a comprehensive register of contractual and commercial correspondence.3. Teamwork & Stakeholder EngagementLiaise effectively with the Project Management, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure a collaborative approach to project delivery and value engineering.Build and maintain strong, professional working relationships with clients, design consultants, and subcontractors.Contribute to the commercial development of junior Quantity Surveyors (for the SQS level).Candidate ProfileQualifications & ExperienceA relevant degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with significant experience in high-value industrial, logistics, commercial, or large-scale construction projects in Ireland or the UK.Proven experience working under various forms of contractSkills & AttributesExceptional negotiation and contract management skills.Strong commercial acumen and forensic attention to detail.High proficiency in cost analysis, measurement software, and MS Excel.Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for client and contractor liaison.Please share your CV to if you would be interested in finding out more about this opportunity
