Healthcare Assistant Job Summary
This is a challenging yet rewarding role for a dedicated individual who wishes to make a difference in the lives of our residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality person-centred care to meet the needs of residents in our Nursing Home.
The Role:
* Supporting nursing staff and team members to deliver quality care that meets the needs of residents;
* Giving attention, support, and companionship to residents to enhance their quality of life;
* Promoting mobility by supervising and assisting as necessary to ensure optimum mobility is maintained or improved where possible;
* Assisting with personal appearance/hygiene needs while maintaining dignity;
* Helping with eating/drinking and achieving physical comfort;
* Participating in organising social activities;
* Sustaining high levels of communication between resident family members and staff to develop good relationships; Sustaining high levels cleanliness in the unit.
