Overview
The Site Operations Department is responsible for the overall health of all mechanical and electrical systems, building maintenance, and performance of all data modules in our data centers. The team is staffed 24 x 7 onsite with Critical Facilities Technicians (CFTs) working on shift. This team is the face of Vantage to our customers and the guarantee of business continuity and excellence of Operations of our campus as well as the performance of our customer installations. Using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan and track maintenance activities, the Site Operations department is responsible for all preventative and corrective maintenance. Position Overview
We are looking for a Critical Facilities Technician who knows what best-in-class service looks like and can make that a reality. This role is an important member of our facilities team where we manage some of the most efficient and cost-effective data center facilities in the industry.
The successful candidate will work with a team of electrical and mechanical-focused engineers performing maintenance and repair for our data center infrastructure. We take our customer requirements for uptime seriously and keep our facilities maintained to a very high standard to ensure uninterrupted service for our customers.

Essential Job Functions
* Ensure the completion of the maintenance activities to the highest quality level of planning, preparation, execution, and reporting
* Ensure the full reliability of the infrastructures with a focus on continuity of services, energy efficiency, and budgetary constraints
* Use the BMS (Building Management System) and all available systems and perform regular walkthroughs to keep up-to-date monitoring on site
Job Requirements
* Technical training (advanced technician or engineer level) in one of the following fields: electricity (electric generators, UPS, low-voltage distribution), air conditioning, fire and physical safety and security (access control, video and anti-intrusion systems) or centralized building management systems
* Data Center experience, ideally in data center operations or similar mission-critical environments preferred
* Demonstrate knowledge in operating, maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and testing critical electrical distribution systems, HVAC systems, and building management/automation equipment
* Supervision of Level II, III, and IV maintenance works on the site infrastructure
* Proven skills in the use of software, such as BMS, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and MS Project
* Candidates must possess reliable transportation for reporting to work for shifts, or emergencies
