The Role
We’re looking for an ambitious Hydrogeologist to join our expanding environmental team, supporting the delivery of water and infrastructure projects across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining fieldwork, technical analysis, and project coordination within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
You’ll contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects, playing an integral role in assessing and managing groundwater and surface water interactions, while helping to shape sustainable water solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver hydrological and hydrogeological assessments, including evaluation of water quality and quantitative impacts.
Design and oversee groundwater monitoring strategies and site investigation programmes.
Analyse and interpret hydrogeological data to inform impact assessments and mitigation strategies.
Prepare high-quality technical documentation including desk studies, conceptual site models, risk assessments, EIAR inputs, and regulatory submissions (WFD, GWDTE).
Conduct site inspections and supervise investigations, acting as Employer’s Representative where required.
Support project planning, scoping, and coordination to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
Collaborate with engineers, planners, and environmental specialists to deliver integrated project outcomes.
About You
You are a technically strong and motivated hydrogeologist with hands‑on experience in groundwater and hydrological assessment. You’re comfortable working across both field‑based and office‑based environments and are confident interpreting complex datasets.
You have a solid understanding of environmental legislation and regulatory processes in Ireland and can translate technical findings into clear, concise reports. Strong organisational skills enable you to manage competing priorities, and you communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and colleagues alike.
Above all, you are passionate about sustainable water management and committed to delivering high‑quality environmental solutions.
What’s on Offer
Competitive salary and attractive benefits package.
Structured professional development and clear progression pathways.
Supportive team culture with strong technical mentorship.
Flexibility to be based in Dublin, Galway, Cork, or Castlebar.
The chance to contribute to nationally significant projects that positively impact communities and the environment.
