HR Business PartnerPosition OverviewThe HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic advisor to dairy plant leadership, supporting business goals through people-focused strategies. This role integrates HR expertise with operational understanding of dairy manufacturing, milk procurement, quality, logistics, and sales environments. The HRBP drives organizational capability, culture, talent development, and workforce effectiveness across dairy operations.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic HR PartnershipPartner with business leaders across operations, procurement, quality, sales, and supply chain to align HR strategies with business priorities.Provide insights on workforce planning, productivity, talent risks, and organizational design.Support change initiatives and continuous improvement programs in dairy plants.2. Talent Management & Capability BuildingLead talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership pipeline development for dairy operations.Identify skill gaps in production, quality control, maintenance and commercial.Drive learning programs based on learning needs analysis3. Performance ManagementLead the performance management cycle-goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluations.Coach managers on objective setting aligned to dairy KPI metrics.Address performance gaps through structured PIP and development plans.4. Employee Relations & Culture BuildingAct as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, resolving workplace issues proactively.Drive culture initiatives focusing on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.Support harmonious relations with shop-floor employees; manage union interactions where applicable.5. Change Management & Organizational DevelopmentSupport organizational restructuring, new plant integration, and process improvements.Facilitate change readiness, communication, and capability-building during system or operational changes.Conduct engagement surveys, analyze results, and lead action planning.6. HR Policy & ComplianceEnsure adherence to employment law, safety regulations, and company HR policies.Coordinate with HR Operations for audits and documentation compliance (employment, safety, food safety).Provide guidance to managers on disciplinary and policy matters.7. Data Insights & Workforce AnalyticsUtilize HR data to provide insights on attrition, absenteeism, talent gaps, diversity, and productivity.Develop business dashboards that correlate people metrics with dairy plant performance.Recommend data-driven strategies to improve operational effectiveness.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.5-12 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a business partnering role.Preferred experience in dairy, FMCG, food processing, or manufacturing environments.Strong understanding of plant operations, shift-based workforce management, unions and employment law.Key SkillsStrategic thinking and business acumenStrong stakeholder management and influencing skillsExcellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication abilitiesAnalytical and data-driven decision-makingProblem-solving and conflict resolutionAbility to work in dynamic, fast-paced plant environmentsFlexibility to travel between sites
