Full Stack PHP & Angular Developer (Fully On-site, South Dublin)

This is an on-site role based at our client's offices in South County Dublin.
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack PHP & Angular Developer with deep expertise in Laravel and modern frontend development (Angular). The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience building scalable applications, applying SOLID and DRY principles, and using established design patterns to produce high-quality, maintainable solutions. This role requires strong capability across both backend and frontend development to deliver seamless, user-centric applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain full stack applications using Laravel (PHP) and Angular.
* Write clean, testable, scalable code following SOLID, DRY principles, and design patterns.
* Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services for backend communications.
* Develop responsive, performant and user friendly UIs using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
* Optimise backend performance with MySQL/PostgreSQL and apply database tuning strategies.
* Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
* Troubleshoot and maintain backend and frontend codebases.
* Collaborate with cross functional teams to define requirements, design features, and deliver high quality solutions.
Required Experience
* 5+ years full stack development experience.
* Strong Laravel (5.x–10.x), PHP, and OOP skills.
* Angular (2+) and TypeScript proficiency.
* Experience with REST APIs, Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools.
* Solid understanding of MVC, design patterns, and modern development practices.
* Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills.
Nice to Have
* Experience with unit testing and TDD.
* Familiarity with caching, queues, and microservices.
* Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
