Overview: PM Group is a leading international engineering, architecture, project, and construction management firm. With offices across Europe, Asia, and the US, and a team of over 3,500 professionals, we deliver complex capital projects in sectors such as life sciences, food and beverages, ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy, and environmental sectors.
We manage large-scale projects and provide Managed Services for capital projects to our clients. Our site-based teams across Ireland deliver cost-effective project management, handling projects from €100k to €15M, from concept through to handover. Projects include buildings, cleanrooms, utilities, process installations, regulatory upgrades, and equipment replacements.
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager/Engineer to join our Managed Services team on a pharmaceutical client site in West Dublin. The successful candidate will work on various key projects.
Responsibilities:
* Support project management throughout the project lifecycle, reporting to the Projects Programme Manager.
* Manage a diverse portfolio of strategic projects, with the capability to handle small projects independently.
* Focus on safety, schedule, and budget adherence, complying with engineering standards, policies, regulations, and codes.
* Manage cross-functional teams delivering manufacturing facility and processing projects in a GMP environment.
* Oversee financial performance, including cash flow, lifecycle costs, opportunities, and risks.
* Manage contractors/vendors, project schedules, and develop schedules.
* Implement risk management and mitigation plans.
* Ensure safety practices are followed on-site, managing contractor safety.
* Understand environmental health & safety requirements in a pharmaceutical setting.
Qualifications:
* Degree in a relevant science/engineering discipline (Level 8 desirable).
* Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex GMP manufacturing projects.
* Full project lifecycle experience, from design to C&Q and handover.
* Knowledge of project management processes, programming, scope, and design development.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Proven record of on-time delivery and right-first-time documentation.
* Experience with end-user operations, operating procedures, maintenance, and calibration plans.
* Proficiency in CMMS systems (preferably Maximo), MS Office, SAP, and budgeting tools.
