Senior Professional Services Consultant

Role Overview
Lead the delivery of Scion module implementation projects, combining expert project management with deep credit union operational insight to ensure customers achieve measurable value and best practice adoption. Design and deliver repeatable, market‑ready service offerings, strengthen customer relationships through direct engagement and drive continuous improvement in Professional Services delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Scion module implementation programs from initiation through lessons learned, ensuring on‑time, budget‑constrained delivery within agreed scope.
* Apply structured project management practices, maintaining clear plans, risks, issues and status reporting.
* Act as primary point of contact for assigned programs, managing customer expectations and project sign‑off.
* Support wider PS delivery (e.g., additional module rollouts, process improvement projects) as required.
* Build subject matter expertise in assigned Scion modules and integration into credit union operations.
* Maintain strong understanding of credit union business processes to provide best practice advice.
* Continuously develop product knowledge through self‑learning, collaboration with Product/Engineering and customer feedback.
* Design and document Professional Services offerings, including product descriptions, Statements of Work, implementation approaches and lessons learned.
* Standardise and refine delivery approaches to improve quality and repeatability.
* Engage confidently with credit union stakeholders as a trusted advisor, offering guidance on module adoption and operational improvement.
* Deliver high‑quality training and knowledge transfer sessions to customers.
* Provide structured feedback from projects to internal teams to support product and process improvement.
* Travel to Credit Unions as required (up to 30%).
Skills & Experience
* 5+ years proven experience in a software implementation role within FinTech or significant experience using core banking software within a Credit Union environment.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret structured data.
* Excellent communication skills—clear, professional, and able to explain technical detail to non‑technical users.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and structured thinking.
* Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and take ownership of niche subject areas.
* Experience managing customer expectations and delivering to deadlines.
Nice to Have
* Familiarity with project management or implementation methodologies.
* Familiarity with regulatory constraints within a Credit Union environment.
