Lead a lab-based, technically driven team responsible for generating and analyzing data to support manufacturing processes.
This includes performing risk assessments for changes to raw materials and determining potential impact to the processes.
You will lead cross-functional teams in developing plans, schedules, and resource projections as well as coordinating studies and technical justifications.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and approving study protocols and summary reports generated by process sciences staff against established procedures.
Additionally, you will provide technical and scientific oversight to a team of scientists to ensure accuracy and relevance of experiments or data analysis.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, logical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.
Prior experience in people management functions within a department is essential, including compliance monitoring of area operations, such as lab executions and documentation activities.
Candidates must be able to participate in regulatory activities, including audits and GMP inspections, and collaborate cross-functionally.
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should have a BSc/BEng in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics or related field.
