We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team for a Commercial project in the Galway City area.
As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for producing As-Built drawings and various other documents for Technical Submittals, Setting-Out or supervising a Setting-Out Engineer, subcontractor management, ordering materials and managing logistics for deliveries etc.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting-Out using total station or supervising Setting-Out Engineers where required.
* Carrying out setting out and surveying activities for various building trades using robotic total station and dumpy level.
* Coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers and Services Coordinator to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information.
* Ensuring that all materials used, and work performed are as per specification and drawing requirements.
* Supervising and coordinating subcontractors, conducting site inspections, and providing technical expertise.
* Involvement in project planning, risk management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulation.
* Managing and maintaining the RFI register on site.
* Managing and maintaining the submittals register on site.
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management related discipline
* 2+ years experience as a Site Engineer/Senior Site Engineer with a Main Contractor or Residential Developer
* Experience using setting out equipment - Eg. total station, GPS and laser levels
* Knowledge of temporary works coordination
* Strong attention to detail and able to work on own initiative
