Business Leader based in Southern Ireland with a track record for Tier 1 Main Contractors? This is an exciting post to handle a portfolio of Projects up to €130 Million. The outlook on project awards and future negotiated work across Southern Ireland from Dingle up to Limerick across to Waterford is positive.
Role reports directly into the Chief Operations Officer, carrying a huge amount of autonomy. It will require exceptional people skills and technical awareness of how to build. As part of the SLT you will have regular interaction with Commercial, HR, Finance & Pre-Construction.
You will be heavily involved driving all elements of the life cycle for the Southern Region of Ireland
Responsibilities
* Monitor all programs in line with contract objectives
* Raise, manage and handle associated risk or issues
* Promote a can do and collaborative relationship with clients, staff & the supply chain
* Mentor, develop and ensure that high performers are earmarked within the group
* Provide strong leadership setting the standards and professionalism in line with the company culture of “do the right thing”
* Manage and promote all QHSE Initiatives and standards
* Strategically map and follow opportunities to negotiate and tender
* Ensure the highest levels on site are set and the project is built in line with company & client expectations
Have you managed at this level or feel your ready to step into a regional / contracts capacity. You will have a solid background of delivering but have the people and emotional awareness to open doors and manage teams.
Following is critical
* Local Irish Experience & understanding of the culture, clients & supply chain
* Able to add value through the full life cycle of work from bidding, execution on site to final account
* Clear Experience delivering projects for Reputable Irish Main Contractors handling Buildings relevant to sectors listed
* Bachelors Degree – Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management
* Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office, and in particular Excel & PowerPoint
* Minimum of 8-10 Years Post Graduate experience on site
* Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management – You understand the importance of team work and collaborating for win wins for all
* History of success delivering projects
* Strategic and calm thinker when needed
