Commercial Manager
CREGG are seeking an experienced and highly organised Commercial Manager to join our client's team and fully own the company's commercial strategy and Go-To-Market (GTM) execution.
This is a new role and a great opportunity for someone to put their own stamp on things.
As Commercial Manager reporting to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, refine, and execute commercial and GTM strategies, including pricing models, customer segmentation, and value proposition.
Translate the business' objectives into actionable sales and marketing initiatives.
Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure and account expansion.
Drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding existing relationships, with a focus on regulated, compliance-driven sectors.
Leverage your professional network to access key decision-makers and open doors.
Build and sustain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for the organization's solutions.
Represent the organization at industry events, business networks, and relevant forums to enhance brand visibility and business development opportunities.
Ensure the organization's offerings meet evolving regulatory requirements, including GDPR, data protection, and information governance.
Serve as a senior leader within the organization, collaborating closely with the leadership team on commercial strategy and organisational growth.
Report directly to the CEO and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.
Oversee digital presence, including website and social media, as key marketing and lead generation tools.
Optimise the use of CRM and digital tools to manage pipelines, leads, and commercial activities.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 5+ years' experience in business development, commercial management, or sales leadership roles.
Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and achieving/exceeding commercial targets.
Extensive professional network with the ability to access new markets and key decision-makers.
Deep understanding of GDPR, data protection, compliance, and governance frameworks.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems and digital marketing tools.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred).
