RINA is seeking for a freelance collaboration/independent-contractor arrangement (i.e., non-employment) a highly experienced Construction Manager to support complex infrastructure programmes — ideally in rail, tunnelling, or civil/structural works.
The role will be full-time on-site in Dublin (Ireland), with activities expected to start in May ****.
The initial engagement is planned for 2 years, with the possibility of extension up to 12 years, which corresponds to the full duration of the project.
Key Requirements
Senior 10+ years' experience with 5+ years within the specialism including Construction, Engineering and Management in large scale multidisciplinary railway engineering and construction projects, or projects of a similar nature.
Minimum Level 6/7 (NFQ) (or equivalent) in relevant subject area e.g., engineering, construction, project management is preferable
MCIOB or MICE (or equivalent/working towards)
Advantageous however not mandatory for this role: Additional Professional Qualifications in Engineering or Construction/Project Management.
Demonstrated capability in Construction delivery of complex infrastructure works
Experience of stakeholder management on major projects and programmes
Able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) (Amendment) Regulations **** and experience on railway engineering projects
Demonstrable experience in the promoting and ensuring exemplary standards of health and safety on large-scale construction projects.
Demonstrable experience of the implementation of health, safety, environmental and quality management processes.
Knowledge and experience of NEC 4 Contract suite, and commercial awareness.
Role Responsibilities

Solid engineering and construction assurance skills are essential to verify works against technical drawings and ensure technical compliance.
