Role:
* Implement, maintain and sustain the ISO14001:2015 Standard
* Oversee the Industrial Hygiene program and act as site SME.
* Conduct Occupational Hygiene Risk Assessments based on activities performed on the site.
* Liaise with Global Health in the review and specification of SEG's.
* Work with Consultants to complete Occupational hygiene monitoring and co-ordinate other related activities as required.
* Oversee the approval of New Chemical Introductions and management of the SDS's corporate database to ensure accuracy with respect to chemicals used on site.
* Maintains the Chemical Register for the site and works with the relevant stakeholders to introduce new chemicals to the site.
* Emergency Response Planning for the site inclusive of training teams based on risk profile for the site.
* Manages the Contractors Management and the Permit to Work Process for the site.
* Provide monthly Metrics reports for the site and ensure on time submission of monthly reports to Corporate EHS in CURVE.
* Chairs and leads bi-monthly meetings with the sites EHS Refresh Team ensuring compliance to the relevant standards is met as well as key deliverables.
* Creates and delivers presentations for the EHS Management Reviews.
* Provide and develop Chemical Awareness, Manual Handling and EHS Induction Training, Contractor Management, Permit to Work and other Safety Training as required.
ESSENTIAL:
* A relevant third level qualification in Science, Engineering or EHS, with at least 5 years' experience in the environment, health, and safety area, ideally in the MedTech or Pharma industry.
* Good overall knowledge of legal requirements and best practices in Environment, Health, and Safety
* Good written and communication skills.
* Good computer skills with the ability to create dashboards, work in Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to track and trend KPI's, assembling information into clearly written reports, documented findings or recommendations and communicate this progress in an easily understandable manner to all stakeholders.
