Job Title:
A Store Assistant is required to work within a busy Stores environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and efficient procurement and issue of stock items as required, as well as the receipt, handling and safekeeping of all items of stock held on site.
Key Responsibilities
* To be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records using computerised Stores Management systems.
* To operate within store areas designated by management, using any necessary equipment such as fork-lift trucks or pallet jacks.
* To conduct regular stock counts to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
* To assist in implementing administrative practices and procedures to ensure high quality service standards are met.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities and be able to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
