Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Accountant based in Dublin, reporting to the Financial Controller. The Assistant Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting activities for Republic of Ireland operations, such as managing financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and assisting with month-end and year-end financial close processes. The role also includes collaborating with other departments to support financial operations and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in managing financial records, account reconciliations, and preparing financial reports
* Strong knowledge of accounting software and tools, as well as basic accounting principles and standards
* Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy in financial data
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Prior experience in accounting or finance roles is a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
* IATI Qualification or equivalent
