From endlessly recyclable aluminum cans, and cups, to aerosol bottles, our goal is to contribute to a better community, society, and world.Purpose of the position:As an Electrical Engineering Supervisor, the main purpose will be to plan, direct and manage the operations of the electrical function to ensure maximum efficiency from all plant equipment, by means of planned preventative maintenance, continuous improvement and modifications to equipment, while ensuring full support is provided to production 24/7.You will be responsible for ensuring that all electricians are suitably trained, including safety and work to company and legislative safety requirements.Key responsibilities include:Carry out all duties in accordance with the company’s health and safety policiesTo manage the function in a way that reflects the ICA Management principles and core values while providing effective leadershipTo safely plan, direct and manage the electrical functionEnsure corrective action is taken, as required, for all equipment and operational problemsTo drive continuous improvement in the PlantEnsure adequate training is provided building on the skill levels within the team to raise competency levels and ensure flexibility and multi-skillingOperate effectively with other Engineering functions to ensure the overall performance of the Engineering department and the plantKeep abreast of any new equipment processes that are relevant to our particular industryKnowledge and experience required:Previous continuous improvement experienceGood mathematical skillsGood analytical skills - Must have the ability to interpret drawingsBall Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
