Our client is a national construction company.
They are looking to recruit a mid-level H&S Advisor for multiple building projects near UCD / D4.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular, formal site audits and carry out inspections.
2. Ensure that records of statutory inspections are kept for all activities and plant equipment.
3. Deliver Health & Safety induction programmes for new employees or contractors working on site.
4. Serve as Client representative at Site meetings.
5. Organise and chair Safety Meetings for staff and Sub-Contractors personnel.
6. Ensure sub-contractor safety statements and required Method statements are available on site.
7. Assess sub-contractor statements and method statements, assisting where required.
8. Advise/assist Site Management in drafting and communicating Method Statements.
9. Carry out risk assessments and ensure risks are reduced.
Requirements:
* Health and Safety Cert, Diploma or Degree is essential.
* 2+ years site-based experience.
* Good communication, leadership, training, and presentation skills.
* Experience in the construction industry.
