Clinical Services
Our clinical services involve assessing patients' nutritional needs and providing tailored dietetic interventions. We work closely with the General Paediatrics department and other specialities to ensure seamless patient care.
Additionally, we provide nutrition support to various clinical areas, working in collaboration with the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics as needed.
Liaison and Communication
We maintain effective communication with Consultants, multidisciplinary team members, formula room staff, and catering personnel to coordinate dietetic interventions and promote integrated patient care.
Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration
As part of our role, we participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient outcomes and foster a collaborative environment.
Nutrition Education and Support
Our team consults with parents, guardians, and clients to discuss treatment plans, provide education on nutrition, and offer guidance on achieving optimal health outcomes.
Dietetic Care Planning
We monitor and evaluate dietetic care plans, ensuring that our interventions are effective and aligned with best practices.
Professional Development and Quality Improvement
As a dedicated team, we contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines that reflect evidence-based practice, striving for excellence in patient care.
Key Requirements
* Registration as a Dietitian by CORU's Dietitians Registration Board is mandatory.
* A high standard of knowledge, skills, and suitability for this role is essential.
