We are currently recruiting for a C&B Supervisor.Role & Responsibilities:Assist in the coordination of conferences, banquets, and events from planning stages to executionWork closely with the Banqueting Manager to ensure all client requirements are metSupervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in conferences and banquets, including servers, event coordinators, and support staffProvide guidance and support to ensure staff performs their duties effectivelyOversee the setup of event spaces, ensuring proper arrangement according to event type and client preferencesCoordinate logistical aspects, such as seating arrangements, equipment setup, and signageInteract with clients and guests to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experienceMonitor the quality-of-service delivery and take corrective actions as requiredTrain new staff members on conference and banqueting procedures, service standards, and customer interactionConduct ongoing training sessions to enhance the skills of existing staffEnsure that events meet or exceed established quality standardConduct inspections to ensure proper setup, cleanliness, and adherence to safety regulationsMaintain effective communication with the Banqueting Manager, staff, and other departmentsRelay important information to staff and address any issues promptlyRequirements for the role:Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or events industryKnowledge of event planning and banqueting proceduresStrong organisational and supervisory skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyFamiliarity with health and safety regulations related to eventsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedulesCustomer-focused mindset and dedication to delivering exceptional serviceBenefits:Complimentary meal on duty/Staff car parking/on line training platform/Family & Friends rates/Uniform provided
