This position is within the fire protection division, knowledge of fire protection systems is not necessary, but a good understanding of mechanical equipment, materials, processes, materials etc. is important.Tendering a variety of large-scale projects in Ireland, UK & across Europe.Involvement in full tender process from beginning to completion.Conduct in-dept reviews of tender documents, drawings, specifications, schedules etc.Liaising with relevant parties/supplies/subcontractors.Evaluate, analyse & validate supplier and sub-contractor quotations.Issue tender RFIs and review client response with Estimating Team.Prepare tender review & progress reports for evaluation with Group Estimating Manager.Handover of final estimates to Group Estimating Manager & Director.Attend meetings and site visits are when required.Skills And Requirements3-5 years' experience in a similar role.Relevant degree qualification.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure with strict deadlines.Excellent communication and time management skills essential.A strong analytical mindset with excellent negotiation skills and meticulous attention to detail.Strong computer skills especially in the use of Excel/GSheets/etc.Problem solving skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
